Organization

The team container used to manage cars, contracts, sponsorships, staff access, and finances.

Organization Account

The organization-level finance account used for team-wide financial activity.

This is different from the car accounts.

Car Account

The finance account attached to a specific car or entry.

Most race-week operating income and expense appears here.

Car / Entry

A specific organization-owned car that operates inside a series.

In the finance and sponsorship systems, the car is usually treated as the main operating unit.

Contract

The agreement that defines how a driver is signed to an organization.

A contract controls compensation, purse share, term, and race-use rules.

Contract Type

The structure of the driver deal.

The current live types are:

• full-time
• part-time
• temporary

Scheduled Contract

A contract that already exists but has not started yet.

This is most common with extensions.

Race Assignment

The operational step that places a signed driver contract onto a specific car and race schedule.

A contract by itself does not complete this step.

Sponsorship Slot

One of the three sponsor placements on a race entry:

• primary
• secondary
• tertiary

Sponsorship Relationship

The sponsor-history strength built from real completed sponsor experience with the car.

It is not just based on signing the sponsor once.

Guaranteed Race

A race that is explicitly protected inside a contract rather than left open-ended.

This is especially important for temporary and part-time deals.

Purse Winnings Share

The percentage of race purse money the driver receives under the contract.

This also affects salary calculation in the live contract system.

Manufacturer Support

Organization-level financial support from an active manufacturer agreement.

This posts to the organization account, not the car account.

Event Close

The financial settlement process that runs after event results are imported and processed.

Many race-week ledger rows are created here.

Ledger

The detailed transaction list for a finance account.

It explains what posted, in what category, and why.

Transfer Center

The finance tool used to move money between the organization account and a car account.

Emergency Sponsorship

A last-minute sponsorship request made from the Relationships page when a slot is still open and the race is close.

It creates a single-race offer if the sponsor is willing.

Scope

The layer of access or responsibility you are working in.

Most commonly, users are working in one of these scopes:

• driver
• organization
• specific car
• organization account
• car account

A large amount of dashboard confusion comes from working in the wrong scope.

Season Close

The end-of-season financial posting context used for things like charter distributions.

This is separate from the weekly event-close cycle.

Final Reminder

If a term seems confusing, the safest assumption is that the platform is being specific on purpose.

Words like contract, assignment, organization account, and car account are not interchangeable in this system.
